Sivasankara Prasad Thupalli - CEO and Founder

Sivasankara Prasad is the Founder & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Jasmin Infotech which was founded in 1998. Prior to founding JI, he was a Senior Manager at Indchem Research Labs specializing in hardware design and Digital Signal Processing.

For over 40+ years, Prasad has been a noteworthy leader in the embedded technology space. Through his commitment to JI, he has grown and nurtured the company for 23 years. Prasad has a unique perspective when it comes to strategy, finance and business management which helped him establish Jasmin.

Prasad holds a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT-M), Chennai, India, and bachelor’s degree from Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering, Tirupati, India.

Senthil Arunachalam - General Manager and Business Unit Head
Automotive

Senthil Arunachalam is the General Manager and Automotive BU Head at JI. He has a mix of industrial and teaching experience for over 24 years.

He guides and leads the engineering team while engaging with multiple customers worldwide in developing Automotive ECU products for the high-end car makers. In addition, he plays a key role in strategy formation and execution for automotive business unit. Prior to JI, Senthil worked as a professor in Sathyabama Engineering College, Chennai for around 4 years.

Senthil holds a master’s degree in Medical Electronics and a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from College of Engineering, Guindy, Anna University. He is a member of SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) and AES (Audio Engineering Society) and actively participates in various events organized by these societies.

Balakrishnan Sairam - Director
Automotive

Balakrishnan Sairam is the Director of Automotive group at JI. He leads a talented team to deliver solutions catering to Infotainment and Connectivity Products for major clients in the automotive space.

Balakrishnan has around 23 years of embedded industry experience, specialized in the areas of Audio, network streaming, Connectivity, Mobile APPS and in delivering complete embedded product solutions.

Balakrishnan holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering, Chennai, India and Executive MBA degree in Indian Institute of Technology (IIT-M), Chennai, India.

Udayalakshmi Rajashekar - Business line head
SMART Audio & Connectivity

Udayalakshmi Rajashekar is the Business Line Head of SMART Audio and Connectivity division at Jasmin Infotech. She is responsible for developing technology capability and services rendering to customers in the field of Audio, Video, Healthcare and Embedded Cybersecurity.  She joined Jasmin in the year 1999 and supported customers world-wide in the field of Audio. She serves as advisory member in Engineering institutes in Chennai. She earned her graduation in Electronics and Communication from University of Madras. She holds a Post-Graduate Programme in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from University of Texas at Austin & Great Lakes Institute and has also completed Executive MBA in Business Analytics with Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA), Chennai.

Vijaya Savarirajan - Business line head
Automotive

Vijaya Savirajan is the business line head for Automotive division. A certified Project Management Professional, She is in charge of Radio programs - Development, integration and testing of various Radio components for different car variants. She was previously leading radio domain projects such as Radio stack development, porting and testing and also design and development of multimedia and connectivity projects.

Vijaya joined Jasmin Infotech as her first job and has been continuing her jouney here.

Vijaya holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and communication engineering from Government College of Engineering, Tirunelveli, India and a master’s degree in Software Systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, India.

Padmavathi Ramanathan - Business line head
Automotive

Padmavathi Ramanathan is the Business Line head for Automotive Network and R&D in Advanced Technologies. A Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), She builds the pipeline to grow organization capabilities geared towards Automotive Business Unit vision, develops IP, and collaborates in joint pilot programs with Customers for Proof-Of-Concept.

Prior to JI, Padmavathi was working at Analog Devices Inc as a Project Lead for Audio group. She also worked as a Team lead, DSP Software Engineer at Couth Infotech Pvt Ltd.

Padmavathi holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Osmania University, India and a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Villanova University, Pennsylvania, USA.

Sriram IA - Director
Strategic Business Development

Sriram IA is the Director – Strategic Business Development at JI. He leads the Business Development efforts for the Automotive vertical across Asia (China, Japan), Europe, North America & India. With over 13 years of experience in sales and marketing, Sriram manages new business development and marketing of technology products (IP’s)

Prior to JI, Sriram worked at different capacities in R&D, Marketing & Pre-Sales departments for the Automotive & Heavy Equipment Industries.

Sriram holds a Bachelor’s degree (Hons.) in Mechanical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, India and a Post graduate Degree in business management specializing in sales and marketing from Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai, India. Sriram has also done various programs from Indian Institute of Management (IIM-B) and Indian School of Business (ISB), India.

Mohan Rangan - Member of Board

Mohan Rangan is an experienced industry professional and executive coach with over 36 years of industry experience. He is currently an advisor to JI and is independently pursuing consulting with the specific objective of working with SMEs and helping them in various areas of their operations.

Mohan started his career with CMC Ltd and the moved to Wipro Technologies. In 1994, he joined Mphasis BFL Ltd – a HP company, as the Managing Director. In 2000, Mohan became the CEO and Managing Director of Global Edge Software Ltd. a fast-growingcompany in Bengaluru that focuses on delivering customer specific solutions in Embedded software, Systems software, and Telecommunications space. In 2001, hetook on the role of President and CEO of HTMT, the flagship Information Technology Corporation of Hinduja group.

Mohan has a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Madras, India and a postgraduate degree in business management with specialization in Marketing and Systems from the prestigious Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM-A).

Victor Jayakaran - Member of Board

Victor Jayakaran is a highly driven and productive computer &management professional with over 35 years of experience in the computer industry, specialized in VLSI Design, embedded systems, and management. He is currently an advisor to JI and Director (Board) of Identiv (India).

Victor started his career at Wipro Technologies and rose to the position of Vice President. He was instrumental in guiding the global products division, which focused on creation of IP’s and products for worldwide markets.Victor founded SCOLIS - a company with a focus on high performance RFID readers for reading electronic passports, animal RFID tags, NFC tags and NFC phones. In 2010, Victor became the Managing Director of Identive Technologies where he was instrumental in incubating a team of experts to support customers for ID management platform worldwide.

Victor holds a master’s degree in Automation from Indian Institute of Science (I.I.Sc.,) Bengaluru, India. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in physics from A.M. Jain College, Chennai and bachelor’s degree in electronics from Madras Institute of Technology, Chennai.
